THE GAY TAROT was originally produced in 1993-1995. Back then it carried the title, THE GARDEN OF ADAM AND STEVE: INTRODUCING THE GAY TAROT.

GAY TAROT artwork was developed, planned as a new and original Tarot card deck to be reproduced as a companion to the book.

Harry Hay (father of the modern day gay liberation movement), Don Kilhefner (Jungian psychologist and  co-founder of

the Radical Faeries), Mark Thompson (former Advocate magazine senior editor and author of GAY SPIRIT, GAY SOUL, and others), Gavin Dillard (the “Naked Poet”) and others provided early encouragement for the project.

In 1999 a major revision was undertaken, resulting in two separate manuscripts: THE GAY STUDIES SERIES and THE Original GAY TAROT.   THE GAY STUDIES SERIES was published online at the end of 2000. Since then, over 329,000 readers have downloaded The Series, worldwide. THE GAY STUDIES SERIES can still be found on the sister site, Inner Work With Paul Chirumbolo.
